Withdrawal Treatment for Benzodiazepines
Do you have somebody you know and love who is taking a prescription drug like Benzodiazepines from their doctor and/or physician that hasn't been themselves as of lately.

Accredited & Nationally Recognized Treatment Center
StepHouse Recovery Center earned the Behavioral Health accreditation from The Joint Commission, the premier healthcare quality improvement and accrediting body in the nation. Less than 15% of Behavioral Health Care Organizations are The Joint Commission accredited.
We offer a 24-hour residential (or sub-acute) detoxification and treatment service for men and women, 18 years and older, who suffer from substance use and co-occurring disorders.
Our detox program is appropriate for individuals requiring monitoring of post-acute withdrawal symptoms and who are deemed appropriate for a residential level of care.
The path to recovery needs to be walked with both our psychological and physical feat, but it’s the body that needs to kick-start the process through detox.

Using drugs can cause mental and physical dependence over time and an attempt to break the cycle of drug abuse could result in withdrawal symptoms in severely addicted individuals. Under the care of our medically licensed professionals our detox program is specifically designed to rid the body of most harmful toxins.

While a sub-acute detoxification does not rid the body completely of all addictive substances, it eases the transition from chemical dependency to a “clean” state by cushioning the acute, painful (and sometimes, fatal) withdrawal symptoms, including:
- increased blood pressure,
- severe muscle cramping,
- irregular heartbeats,
- seizures,
- hallucinations.
During this stage of treatment, our qualified personnel will help you rebuild a foundation on which you can comfortably continue your addiction treatment and begin to build new and healthy habits.

The Next Step
While under our watch, the initial dive into recovery is a safe and comfortable detox that will aid your transition into a healthy, chemically-clean lifestyle while sidestepping the possibility for relapse.
Clients that have completed detox successfully will transition into our residential treatment program and eventually to our outpatient level of care, which has the advantage of being less disruptive to the patient’s life as well as less expensive.
