Here you can learn more about our transitional treatment phases for addiction. At the foundation of our treatment framework are our evidence-based clinical care and support services, which leads patients through primary, intermediate and advanced phases, resulting in independently-initiated sobriety and successful management of their conditions. We additionally offer a specialized services for dual diagnosis, extended care services, sober coaching, and companions and eating disorders. As patients gain momentum throughout the program, they are granted increasing independence and must fulfill requirements for jobs, volunteer hours or higher education enrollment as they prepare to integrate back to society.

Our Live-In Treatment Program provides the highest level of care at Stephouse Recovery Center. Offering the epitome of a supportive, solution-oriented intervention that caters to every newly recovering client’s needs – the recovery intensity, focus, length of stay and treatment is wholly dependent on the individual’s condition(s).

Phase I is an opportunity for new residents to get acquainted with their peers and get into the rhythm of daily life at Stephouse Recovery. The overall goal of the program is to provide a safe therapeutic environment that encourages healing and change, while addressing the mental health conditions that are commonly diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction. For our live-in options, clients recover at beautiful upscale homes located in Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach, which have shown significantly higher levels of success than those who have gone to institutional settings. We offer both private and semi-private rooms in a gender-specific setting. Our therapies include access to addiction and mental health professionals consisting of physicians, certified addiction counselors and licensed marriage family therapists.

The Phase II program offers clients the option of going to school or work while benefiting from the flexibility of morning or evening structured programs. Clients live in one of our gender-specific residential homes in Huntington BeachCosta Mesa and Fountain Valley. This higher level of care is ideal for individuals who are unable to leave their work or school environment to recover and will allow them the chance to go about their daily lives. Our modalities include group and individual therapies rooted in a 12-step approach to recovery. You will begin your journey towards a happy and meaningful life, free from the bondage of drugs and alcohol.
Phase III combines extended care with the goal to transition to independent living. We offer optional after-care programs that include structure, supervision that will support the resident’s transition to independence and self-sufficiency. The client may independently choose to participate in 12-step meetings, and continue to work with his or her primary therapist at our Intensive Outpatient facility. Out of all of our phases, this is the most vulnerable time in recovery since the individual is facing discharge from our program, going from a structured, safe environment of our facilities to the bustle of reality. Discipline, proper decision-making and problem-solving life skills are necessary to successfully handle the stressors that come with this exposure. Our staff encourages each client to be enrolled in school, employed, and/or participate in volunteer activities indicative of a productive member of society. That’s where this program phase comes in.
