To provide a safe and therapeutic environment for the individual in need of  transitional  sober living.  Our programs are designed to allow the individual to transitioning from primary care drug and alcohol treatment back into mainstream society.

The StepHouse Recovery Inc., are gender specific transitional sober living homes.  StepHouse Recovery specializes in facilitating a smooth and seamless transition to the individual who would like to complete or has completed primary care treatment, usually 30 to 90 days of impatient treatment, and is not ready to return home.  A majority of people in early recovery will return home or back to the environment where active addiction was being practiced find it difficult if not impossible to stay drug and alcohol free.

The StepHouse Recovery program is a viable solution for an individual confronted with the prospect of returning prematurely to an environment that is not conducive to an individual’s needs in early recovery.

Our facilities offer a safe and structured environment for the individual to continue practicing the set of skills acquired in primary treatment while furthering their development of problem solving strategies. Teaching our clients the fundamentals is essential for a productive, healthy, drug and alcohol free life.

Utilizing a unique three point process to successfully guide the individual from early recovery into mainstream society.  The process includes among other things a blueprint for healthy living, self awareness and personal growth.  The first and perhaps the most important step in our process is implementing a structured “12 Step Program”.  This consists of mandatory daily meetings, book studies, a monitoring process in an individual’s “12 Step Program”, and service commitment or volunteer work.  We at StepHouse Recovery, believe a solid foundation is critical to the continued success of the client, in reaching and maintaining a sober and drug free lifestyle.

Our second step in the process involves an optimum client to staff ratio.  This ratio which is much lower than the more traditional treatment centers where clients sometimes unknowingly get lost in the mix, enables the staff at the StepHouse to devote more personal attention to each client. This more personal approach fosters a safe and therapeutic educational environment where the client can grow and prosper as they follow the guidelines of our structured program.  The third step in our three pronged approach to combating drug addiction and alcoholism is sobriety coaching.  This is one on one attention given to the client that needs that extra level of care.  Our staff member will devote personal attention on an individual basis to the respective client.  This process will allow the client to see and experience firsthand, thru the excellent example set forth by our staff member, how an individual approaches each day taking the actions necessary to lead a sober and drug free lifestyle.  This includes but is not limited attending meetings, going to the gym, and attending sober functions with their sobriety coach.  Our sobriety coaches’ specialize in helping out clients overcome chronic relapse, social anxiety and learning how to have fun in sobriety.
